Included in the box is sheet rock anchors which take seconds to install.  If you don’t have a sheet rock ceiling in your garage, you can mount to surface mount bracket directly to your rafter.  

Then in the box as well is all other needed install hardware, you just need a screwdriver.  

If your garage has light bulb sockets instead of outlets, in the box is also provided an light bulb adapter.  This allows you to screw into your light bulb base and plug in the fixture.
